Terms and conditions
What you may expect from us, and we from you.

Who offers this
TRAX3D is offered by the business named on the contact page, established in the Netherlands and registered with the Chamber of Commerce. These terms cover the use of the website, the editor and the forum.
It is free to use
You can use the editor without paying and without advertising. There is no subscription and nothing is kept behind a paywall.
Your account and your conduct
Saving a layout and taking part in the forum need an account. Your password and what happens under your account are yours to look after. We ask for no more personal data than we need, see also our privacy statement, and you can close your account whenever you like. We expect you to use the site and the forum in a normal, respectful way.
Your layouts stay yours
What you design stays your property. Share a layout and anybody can look at it and meet it in the showcase; make it private again and that stops at once. We do not use your layouts for anything else without asking. The software, the house style and the code of TRAX3D of course remain ours.
What a donation is
A donation is a voluntary contribution to a named feature we want to build. It is not the purchase of a product or a service, and it buys no delivery, no return and no priority. We only ask for money for something that is going to be built.
Paying
Payments go through Mollie. Every amount is in euro and includes any tax. Which methods you can choose is shown at checkout. A payment is final only once Mollie confirms it as paid.
Refunds
We refund a donation only in exceptional cases, such as a double charge. If a promised feature is definitively not built, we move your contribution to another feature in consultation with you. Exactly how that works is on the separate page about donations, to be read before you pay.
What we do not warrant
We do our best to keep the editor and the site running without fault and your layouts safe, but we cannot guarantee the service is always reachable or that nothing ever goes wrong. So always keep your own local copy of a layout that really matters to you.
Changes
We may adjust these terms from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when that last happened. A substantial change that really affects your position is announced on the site beforehand.
Applicable law
Dutch law applies to these terms. Any dispute is put before the competent court in your own region.
