3. Working the room

When you design a layout that is supposed to be built in a certain room in your house, you may want to draw the layout of this room as well. This can help to find the optimal use of space or guard reachability. TRAX offers functions to draw the walls, add doors and windows and mark areas you can not use.



Tables can then be placed in the room, to see what arrangement suits your needs best. Tables however do not necessarily need to be in rooms. You can also just draw tables.



Tables are also the basis for landscaping, which we will dive into in the next chapter.


In future versions tables can also be used as modules or seperate layers in multi level layout.
